Two sets of cousins married. They are descendents of the same grandparents, Jacobus Fourie and Elisabeth Minnaar. Their grandson Louis Philip Petrus Fourie (d10) married a second cousin Anna (Johanna) Margaretha Fourie.

Two sisters, Elisabeth Johanna Fourie (d7) and Anna Catharina Fourie (d9) married two Fouries who were second cousins.
